HIGH-PERFORMANCE LABORATORY POWER SUPPLY UP TO 2.4kWATT
The DC laboratory power supply of the ZAS series
manufactured by Zentro-Elektrik is a flexible AC/DC power supply series
of high power density for OEM, industry and laboratory application.
Built in keeping with the principles of the “zero voltage soft switching
technology”, with digital coding of the voltage and power settings,
automatic mode switch between constant current / constant voltage,
parallel switching with active current sharing, the devices offer a
power range of between 600Watt, 1000Watt, 1200Watt and 2400Watt and
supply output voltages of between 0 … 20VDC and 0 … 120VDC in every
power range, depending on type. They stand out for their extraordinary
thermal management and can be pushed into a 19“ rack system without
spacings.
The “zero voltage soft switching technology”
employed removes all switch transients and leads to a very low noise of
< 45mVpp, which comes very close to the values reached in linear
technique. On account of this technique it is also possible to increase
the overall efficiency which reduces the heat development and thus the
load on the power components. This results in very high reliability of
the devices and a high power density. 1200Watt are fitted in a 19“
housing with 1U, 2400Watt in a 19“ housing with 2U.
Apart from an isolated analogue interface, the
devices have been fitted with RS232, RS485 or GPIB
interfaces programmable by micro-controller. An Ethernet interface PCB
can be ordered as an optional feature. |
