The Site
Power Monitor is designed specifically for monitoring power supplies,
rectifiers, batteries, converters, inverters, UPS, distribution panels,
and AC power at communication sites, base stations, outdoor enclosures,
and command vehicles via Ethernet or Wireless connection. The palm sized
unit can be rack, DIN-rail, or wall mounted and is easily adapted to
virtually any make of power system via nine sensor input ports which
capture and stream critical data via the internet for analysis and
logging of site history. Web page based programs are easily user
configured for site parameters with up to 50 desired alarm conditions
settings and multiple automatic notification options by e-mail, PDA, and
mobile phone.
Sites
without internet access can use the monitor solely as a data logging
instrument that captures and retains a 30 day history file, ready for
download to a lap top computer during maintenance visits for recording
site history and analysis of component performance and failure
conditions. |

The DPR2700 Series
rectifier is a single phase, hot pluggable, fan-cooled rectifier. The
outstanding power density of this product offers the optimum 1U shelf
solutions for easy integration into power systems. The constant output
power characteristic supplies the specified power over the full output
voltage range. The benefit is an optimised modular system design (fewer
number of modules). These performances as well as the extended

The European Union has recently
enacted legislation on environmental requirements for electrical and
electronic equipment placed on the EU market, effective July 1, 2006,
including the following:-
RoHS-Restrictions
on Hazardous Substances. The RoHS
directives ban any new electrical and electronic equipment that contains
more than established levels of six substances:

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers
(PBDEs)

WEEE-Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment. The WEEE
directives seek to prevent the generation of electrical and electronic
equipment waste by promoting reuse, recycling, and other measures such
as enhancing product life cycles.
Delta Electronics already provides or
is preparing to provide RoHS and WEEE compliant products based on these
directives. Delta's plants have adopted the use of Lead-free alloys
using tin with greater than 95% content. Delta has also upgraded product
materials to sustain the higher melting temperatures of Lead-free solder
alloys.
With the majority of Delta's products
already manufactured RoHS-compliant, we are on track to reach complete
corporate-wide compliance by the fourth quarter of 2005.
